You’ve been working out. Gaining muscle. Getting Huuuuge! Are you wearing tighter t-shirts? Why bring up the topic of tight t-shirts? Because you need to know when you look like an idiot, so you can, um, not look like an idiot.
A lot of guys wear a tight t-shirt because it shows off their guns, or chest, or both. Do you want to be the dude with the ultra tight t-shirt on? So tight that it looks like your blood circulation is being cutoff at the shoulder. Nothing screams louder “look at me I think I’m hot, and I don’t know any other way to express my hotness then by wearing a t-shirt so tight you can’t help but look at me”. I’m DESPERATE for attention. LOOK at me NOW! Don’t be that guy.
First, you need to determine if you’re a candidate for wearing a tighter t-shirt then normal or not. Might I add that if your arms are so big that you have no other choice then to wear a tight t-shirt, then lucky you, you’re the man! You’ve got guns that deserve to be shown off, and well you have no choice in the matter. However, if you’ve got guns or the lack thereof, and have the choice of wearing certain cuts of t’s to enhance your bi’s, then here are the rules.
Under these circumstances you shouldn’t wear a tight t-shirt:
- You have a beer gut that sticks out farther then your chest muscles.
- If when you look to the floor while standing you can see your ankles. Seeing the tips of your shoes doesn’t qualify you to wear a tight T, sorry.
- You have love handles that roll beyond your belt buckle and sag southward.
- When you run, you feel your body fat shake on your body. To test this, jump up and down in front of the mirror with your shirt off. Does your body fat jiggle up and down? Don’t wear a tight T.
If you qualify to wear a tight T, here’s a few guidelines to prevent you from looking like you’re trying too hard to show off your body:
- What you want is for your t-shirt to compliment your body shape, not overtly flaunt it.
- Wear T’s that have slightly shorter sleeve length on the arm. Choose a T that raises around mid biceps.
- If you’re not comfortable in your T, it’s too tight.
- The T shirt should not cling to your entire body, rather it should fit with enough room for you to easily create space between the material and your abs and chest, but snug enough so that when you pull the T up from the top of your shoulder, there isn’t enough room to reposition the shirt.
- You goal should be to look as if your muscles are so large that they can’t help but show themselves off. WITHOUT intentionally doing so.
