<p>My favorite pre or post (or both) workout protein drink. I burn calories fast. I&#8217;ll be done with a big breakfast and less then two hours later I&#8217;m starving just before my workout. I&#8217;ve experimented with a lot of different energy drinks, protein drinks, and supplements and this is by far my favorite. This smoothie tastes great, gives me a great boost of energy before my workout, and keeps me from feeling empty for the remaining couple hours until lunch.</p>
<h2>Toss in a blender:</h2>
<ul>
<li>1 cup lowfat chocolate milk</li>
<li>1 scoop protein powder. I use whole foods whey protein powder, vanilla flavor. Provides 18 grams of protein per scoop.</li>
<li>1 banana</li>
<li>1/2 cup frozen blueberries</li>
<li>3 ice cubes</li>
</ul>
<p>Blend until smooth. That&#8217;s it, now hit the gym!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>After reading a recent article at <a title="Men's Journal " href="http://www.mensjournal.com/the-best-energy-supplement-ever" target="_blank">MensJournal.com</a> about an energy supplement called &#8220;quercetin&#8221; has me very interested in finding out other guys results using it. Quercetin has been popularized recently by <a title="FRS" href="http://frs.com" target="_blank">Lance Armstrong&#8217;s product &#8220;FRS&#8221;,</a> which contains high dosage of the supplement.</p>
<p>FRS explains that quercetin is &#8220;one of natures more powerful and abundant antioxidants, found in the the fruits and vegetables like red apples, grapes, and berries. It helps to provide sustained energy and supports improved fitness levels.&#8221;</p>
<p>A can of FRS contains 325mg of quercetin and 85mg of green tea extract (caffeine), and the company advises consuming 2-3 servings a day. That&#8217;s over 1000mg of quercetin.</p>
<p>Studies have indicated that this stuff works. The guy who wrote the Men&#8217;s Journal article  about quercetin, claims that his energy level is way up because of it after weeks of using it.</p>
<p>Have you tried FRS or any other supplements containing quercetin? If so, what is your experience with it? Should we all be trying it?</p>
<p>I&#8217;m always looking for more energy. Whether it be those work during the day when my mind decides to check out and productivity slips away, or at the gym when I&#8217;m not as energetic as I need to be to take it to the next level, I&#8217;m always looking for that edge. There&#8217;s been a lot of hype surrounding supplements in the past, and all seems to die off or the FDA yanks it for one reason or another. Remember how well <strong>Ephedrine </strong>worked?</p>
<p>Lance is doing it, so how bad can it be? He&#8217;s doing something right I&#8217;d say.</p>

You have cankles when there is no clear distinction between your calf and your ankle. The calf never seems to form into a narrower ankle, it&#8217;s just one continuous width right down to the foot. We&#8217;ve all seen it. No, it&#8217;s not pretty. The reason for cankles isn&#8217;t definitive. Is it genetic? Is it due to a persons weight? I think it&#8217;s a combination of both factors. Regardless the reason why you have cankles, the way to make them smaller and get in a good cardiovascular workout that will benefit your entire body is to jump rope.</p>

<p>Jumping rope is an excellent way to work out your leg muscles, while gaining the benefits of cardio exercise. Particularly, if you have a little ankle fat, or are at fear of gaining some, jumping rope should be worked into your exercise routine several times a week.</p>
<p>The reason jumping rope is so beneficial. You&#8217;re going to work out your ankles and calves with every jump, plus you&#8217;ll be burning fat at the same time. The perfect trifecta of cankle burning benefits. Plus jumping rope improves your balance, engages your core muscles, and is an excellent shoulder and arm workout.</p>
<p>Get your jump on with this routine and you&#8217;ll be sporting amazing ankles in no time.</p>
<p>3 days a week jump for 3 minutes 3 times over, with 3 minute rests between each set. Do that for 3 days and then add another set, making it a total of 4 sets, and increase your time to 4 minutes a set. Do the 4 set/4 minute routine for 4 days, take a day off, and then bump it up to a 5 set/5 minute session. Repeat the sequence until you hit 7 minute sets. Remember to take a one day rest every 7 days.</p>
